Caso vc esteja recebendo uma doação, o valor já sofrerá a retenção do imposto de renda na fonte. Como existe um acordo entre USA e Brasil, os valores não podem ser tributados duas vezes.
Agora, se o valor se tratar de herança, pode ser que haja algum outro processo que você poderá se informar melhor no Consulado de seu país.

depends where you live!!.You did'nt mencioned that.USA and Brazil have income taxes, depends where you receive the donation.Contact a expert, it's the best you can do.Taxes Laws in Brazil are very severe in that point, also in USA.
